Forex Regulation: Regulatory Bodies Controlling Foreign Exchange

Johnathon Fox
07/24/2019 | UPDATED ON: 07/24/2019

List of Foreign Exchange Regulatory Organizations and Agencies

Most traders are aware of the big names when it comes to Forex regulation such as the FCA in the UK, ASIC in Australia and the CFTC in the USA.

What is not as commonly known is that most regions do have financial commissions and regulatory bodies in place to monitor financial wrongdoing.

In saying that; some countries and regions are far more lenient when it comes to Forex trading compared to others.

Whilst some countries impose strict conditions on brokers such as a minimum amount of capital they must hold, strict licencing conditions, regular financial audits and making sure traders funds are kept safe and in separate accounts to those of the company, others are not nearly as fierce.

Below is a list of countries, the regulatory body and their website.
